Tara Bangkok is the most expensive soapy massage venue in Bangkok, and the only one that operates like a resort rather than a parlour. It sits on Soi Phatthanakan 46 in Suan Luang, eastern Bangkok, well outside the Ratchada corridor where most of the city’s soapy venues cluster. Prices

Tara publishes a rate of ฿6,900 to roughly ฿40,000 for a 90-minute session — the spread is room tier, not session length. That entry price is more than double the ฿2,400–2,700 that established mid-range Bangkok venues like Colonze and 102 Massage charge, and roughly 4× the ฿1,500 floor at outer-Bangkok venues.

The top of the band buys a suite package: two 90-minute sessions across about three hours, with the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room attached to the room rather than shared. Rates are quoted on contact for specific suites — the operator does not publish a per-room price list.

Our Verdict

Tara is the right call only if the room matters as much as the massage. Everything about the venue — the Fantasy Suites, the in-house restaurant serving Thai, Chinese and Japanese menus, the live-music cocktail lounge, the airport limousine service — is built for a long evening, not a 90-minute stop. Pay ฿6,900 for the cheapest session and you are still paying resort prices for facilities you may not use.

If you want a straightforward soapy massage at a well-run venue, Colonze does the same core service for about a third of the price and is closer to the MRT. If you want the version of this experience that Thai businessmen book to entertain clients, Tara is the only venue in Bangkok operating at that level.

Location & Access

Soi Phatthanakan 46, Suan Luang — eastern Bangkok, roughly 20 minutes by taxi or Grab from Sukhumvit depending on traffic. There is no BTS or MRT station within walking distance, which is the venue’s one practical drawback and the reason it draws a driving, not commuting, clientele. Parking is on site.
